Christina Preston is a multi-award-winning California artist of Mexican, English, and Norwegian descent. Her artistic background started as a young girl when her mother taught her painting and ceramics. Preston also has an M.Sc. in community and regional development from UC Davis and a B.A. in anthropology with training in art from Stanford University.

She lives in the foothills of Northern California on a ranch with a menagerie of rescued animals, from peacocks to tortoises. Christina Preston has founded an art scholarship in honor of her mother, Donna E. Preston.
